The Lagonia Homes’ Story

My three children have always helped me in my business.  Starting at a very young age they spent time with me at “dad’s office".   When they became teenagers, both of my daughters worked in the office after school and on weekends answering the phone and greeting visitors in our model homes.  At an early age my son walked the houses under construction with me on a regular basis and during school breaks as a teenager, Angelo II worked with the Superintendent and continues to do so.  It is my belief that one of the keys to success is to learn a business from the ground up.  All three of my children have learned the construction business with this “hands on” approach.  However, in 1996 Lagonia Homes truly became a family-run business when my daughter, Brandi, began building houses with me on a full time bases.  Later, her husband, William, joined us as a Superintendent.  My daughter, Wednesdee, is Lagonia Homes’ Interior Designer and decorates and furnishes our model homes as well as making decorating packages for our homes, in the same manner as her mother did in the early 80’s.  Wednesdee is also a licensed real estate agent with Trading Places Realty; a sister company, and is an important member of the Lagonia Homes sales staff.
